With 70% of all workers in the Chinese restaurant trade estimated to be working illegally, an immigration crackdown is threatening the life blood of Britain’s usually low-profile Chinese community.

But why can’t non-Chinese people cook Chinese food? This film looks at a unique scheme set up to answer that question, and provide a long-term solution to Chinese takeaways’ chronic legal labour shortage.
