Ukuleles For Peace

Ukuleles for Peace (7min, NHK, May 2012)

If you can't get on with your family, how can you ever make peace with your neighbours? 20% of Israel's population is Arab but their relations with the country's Jewish majority have deteriorated as Israeli-Palestinian tensions mount. English immigrant Paul Moore and his Jewish wife Daphna have found an unlikely instrument to bring the two communities together - the ukulele. Litmus Director Robert Stern tops and tails this live report for NHK live magazine show El Mundo.
